WUS Award 2019 for theses on Sustainable Development Goals

The World University Service (WUS) awards theses from 2018 that deal with one of the following topics of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - Education for Sustainable Development, Global Learning, Human Right to Education, Migration or Refuge.

Diploma, master, bachelor and state examination theses or comparable examination theses can be submitted. The thesis should be completed and submitted in the calendar year 2018 and written in German or English.
The complete application - please only in electronic form - must be submitted by 31 May 2019 at the latest to preis@wusgermany.de and consists of the following parts:

  1.     Covering letter
  2.     Summary (maximum two pages)
  3.     curriculum vitae
  4.     Copy of the work
  5.     Copy of the opinion of the supervisor

Incomplete applications or applications submitted too late will not be considered! Please address any further questions to: preis@wusgermany.de.
The price is announced with € 1.500,00. It can also be divided. An independent jury will decide on the award.
It is planned that the submitted works can be published in the e-library of the WUS portal.

The prize is embedded in the National German Action Plan for the World Action Plan for Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and is donated by the former Herder Club, Dresden. The WUS is an internationally active organisation in the field of education.
